The League introduced a Second division to support the top flight in 1967/68 and the first ever winners
of the league were HADLEY OLD BOYS.
For season 1968/69, the top division of the league was
referred to as the Premier Division, with the newly formed Second Division being renamed simply Division One.
A Second Division was formed in 1974/75 but ran for just two seasons, with CRAVEN ARMS ROVERS & WORTHERN UNITED
celebrating League Championship success in seasons 1974/75 & 1975/76.
