Clee Hill United

Ground Address: The Knowle Sports ground, Tenbury Road, Clee Hill, Shropshire

Clee Hill United FC was formed in the 1930's. Until the late seventies Clee Hill played on what is now the villages recreation field before moving to their new home at Knowle Sports Field. The picturesque ground surrounded on all sides by fir trees is shared in the summer with the successful Clee Hill Cricket Club. The club has in the past managed to field a reserve team and a Sunday league side, unfortunately in later years the Hill have dropped back to just the one team. A recent influx of youngsters has given hope to the reformation of a reserve team in the not to distant future. Today we play in the Shropshire County Premier League after successfully moving through the Kidderminster Football League- where our predecessors played from the 1930's-and promotion from Shropshire League division 1 in 2003 at the first time of asking.

Morda United

Morda United FC is a club that has a lot of history behind. The club was first created in the late 1800's and as known as Morda FC. They then folded but were re-built in the late 70's early 80's. The superb talent in the time is still around today but mainly not playing. Colin Turner and Rob Drury still around and about the club. Rob as secretary and cheif groundsman and Turner as first team manager. He is slowly building a side that is looking like it could be a success. With young blood being pumoed into the side all the time a bright future is ahead for Morda United FC.

Ground Address: Doseley Road, Dawley Telford.
Newport County Borough play in the Shropshire County Premier League. They first played in the Market Drayton league in the late 1940's under the name of Tibberton before moving into the Wellington League in the early 50's. After winning Division 1 1981-82 they were then elected members of the County League and in 1984 were promoted to the premier division. Tibberton won their only premier division title in 1994-95 under Manager Terry Medlyn . In 2003-05 they moved to Dawley with the name of Dawley Villa before moving back to Tibberton in 2005-06 under brother Dave Medlyn. Tibberton played their last ever home game at Maslan Crescent on April 12th 2008 and moved to Shuker's Field, Newport, for the season 2008-09. The club decided to change their name to Newport adding County(County of Shropshire) and Borough (Borough of Telford + Wrekin) to avoid any confusion with any other Newport named clubs. NCBFC then moved to Doseley Road, Dawley for the season 2009-10, which is not far from WMRL entry standard.
